Gaṇeśa Mantra – 3 Part Series – Vakratuṇḍa

Join Siddhi Shakti for a series of 3 online classes to learn a powerful prayer to Lord Gaṇeśa, the one whose splendour is equal in radiance to 10 million suns.

Shakti Durga will be working with this mantra in a January 2023 program, so this is a great opportunity to become familiar with this chant now.

Shakti Durga explains that it is a prayer asking for the Divine to work through us.  ‘Please my Lord be all of my actions all of the time’ – I’m not the doer, you’re the doer through me.

Oṁ Vakratuṇḍa mahākāya sūryakoṭi samaprabha
Nirvighnam kurumedeva sarva karyeśu sarvadā

We’ll be learning the chant with tips to:

• Experience the key Sanskrit mouth placements and how to connect with the sounds of the mantra with more precision.
• Understand the metaphysical effects of connecting with the sacred sounds in this way
• Learn the svara or melody of the mantra
• A beginners introduction to understand the markings on how the mantra is written using the Western alphabet. Be empowered to understand how the markings on the alphabet guide the pronunciation of the sounds.
