Pentecost Weekend Intensive

Open Intensive for Mystery School and any who are called to attend the deep Christ mysteries. We will begin on Friday evening.

After his resurrection, Lord Jesus Christ reassured his disciples that, while he had to go, he will send another to comfort them. 50 days later, the Holy Spirit came to the Apostles. The descent of the Holy Spirit to a group of bewildered, grief-stricken and dejected Apostles, must have been nothing short of miraculous. It empowered them to take up their missions, to spread the energy of Christ on Earth.

Depicted in Christian art as tongues of flame or the descent of the dove, the Holy Spirit enlivens those who are ready to commit their lives to oneness with their Higher Soul and all of creation.

Pentecost is an annual celebration of the Holy Spirit. It is particularly significant to Shakti Durga, because the term for enlivened Spirit, energy and spiritual power to love in Sanskrit is Shakti. Its ultimate expression is called Parameshwari. Parameshwari is Shakti Durga’s guiding light, Guru, Great Spirit, Eternal Cause and is the flow of grace that enables the teachings, blessings, music and more.

This year, and every year, we will be celebrating Pentecost as a Holy occasion marked by a weekend spiritual intensive.

There will be a public in person Satsang at the Harmony Centre Sun at 10.30am (Sydney) led by Shakti Durga. Feel free to bring vegetarian food for lunch on Sunday.

About The Harmony Centre

In-person attendance at the Harmony Centre. Located on beautiful bush acreage, 6-minute drive from Cooranbong shops. There is onsite parking and covered outdoor seating providing an opportunity to enjoy all that nature has to offer. There are beautiful gardens around the house with rear and side lawns. Beyond the gardens the driveways are rocky or gravel, otherwise the ground is uneven so sturdy footwear is preferable for walking.  To make your visit with us comfortable you may like to bring:

• Layers of clothing, easier to keep warm or cool off while maintaining appropriate coverage, a shawl can be a useful addition
• water bottle 
• insect repellent
• comfortable shoes for walking.
• For the sessions you may like to bring a journal and pen
• We ask you to bring only covered water bottles or travel cups into the meeting space to avoid accidents.
• Please bring your own snacks and lunch

We will meet within the Harmony Centre. A house converted to a community centre, provides a kitchen, several bathrooms or WC, a small lounge room, offices, temples and a main meeting room. We provide filtered water, tea and coffee with a range of milks. Your own snacks and lunch are usually enjoyed in one of two covered areas for shade.
