We are delighted to announce that we will be offering Satsang at Henley on the 27th of October – for the first time in almost five years! Gayatri will be joined by special musical guests Leo Dey and Vidya Shanti. Together, they will offer music and meditation to open us into the blissful, non-localised consciousness of unconditional love.
What is Satsang?
Satsang is a combination of spiritual discourse, meditation and music. It is a rich opportunity to go deep; to transform our conscious and unconscious minds; to open our hearts; and to weave the joy, love and wisdom of our souls into the fabric of our day-to-day lives.
Recommended Contribution: $30
Gayatri
Gayatri is the co-founder of The Consciousness Connection: a school for weaving the soul into daily life. Gayatri began studying multifaith mysticism and healing at the age of nine. With her mother, Australian Guru Shakti Durga, she was blessed to meet and study with many different gurus, saints, masters and holy ones, and to lead a life focused on divine connection, healing and service.
At 18, Gayatri began offering Satsangs and programs for spiritual personal development. Later, fascinated by the weave of psychology and spirituality, Gayatri completed her MSc in Applied Positive Psychology. She recently submitted her PhD, “Toward a Psychological Understanding of Unconditional Love” at Leeds Beckett University, where she has guest lectured on consciousness studies.
Gayatri specialises in assisting people to transform and uplift their consciousness, open their hearts and live soulfully authentic lives. She runs Satsangs in the UK, Australia, India and online, works one-on-one with clients, and sings devotional music at every opportunity. Her album “Ignite” can be found on Itunes and Spotify.
Leo Dey
Born and raised in India, Leo Dey comes from a unique blend of musical traditions and cultures. His father is an accomplished Bengali Folk singer. His mother has both Native American and Colombian roots, bringing distinct tribal and Latin musical flavours.
Growing up with these diverse musical influences, Leo began his formal training in Indian Classical Music at a young age and immediately showed great vocal talent. His musical guru described his voice as having the “causeless mercy of Mother Saraswati“. Leo uses that musical gift to bring people into deep, authentic Self-connection through the practice of Sacred Music and Kirtan, which he offers to audiences around the world. Several of his heartfelt melodies (including Dragon Tears, Moksha and Jago) can be found on Spotify, Itunes and Youtube.
In addition to Kirtan, Leo offers professional, playful and wholehearted vocal training to vocalists of all levels through his academy “Swar Yoga,” assisting people to access their true, free and authentic voice.
