The Solar Plexus is the centre of our self-esteem, our capacity to trust ourselves to really appreciate who we are as an individual. In the Australian Aboriginal tradition, they talk about how the creator god, who they call Baiame, created people perfectly imperfect. I really like that concept.
All of us are perfectly imperfect. We’re perfect the way we are, and we have imperfections.
How do you be okay with not being perfect? How do you accept yourself as you are? How do you be your own best friend?
These are the sorts of matters that really affect the way the Solar Plexus operates. When we feel dull, when we feel a lot of shame, a lot of guilt, these kinds of things can really block our Solar Plexus area, and when we use energy healing, we can go in and excavate through all of that and we can lift a lot of that out and transform it into self-acceptance.
It’s the beginning of a whole new paradigm of how to be in relationship with yourself and the world around you.
As a starting place, it’s good to speak kindly to yourself, particularly when you’ve just mucked things up, and know that you’re perfectly imperfect, just like everybody else is, and be your own best friend.
