Everything we do creates an impression in energy. Everything we think creates an impression in energy. The way we utilise emotion or we block it or we judge it, or we don’t want to feel it, we suppress it. All of that creates an impression in energy.
This energy gets stored in your energy field.
Your energy field is like a historical record of what you’ve been thinking, feeling, saying and doing.
When we’re stressed, when we’re working too hard, when we’re not looking after ourselves properly the energy that builds up in and around us becomes harder and harder for us to function within.
It gets dull, and we feel dull. And then, we don’t notice the beauty of life. We don’t notice the marvellous people that are around us or the opportunities that we could have.
Learning how to clean out all of this energy, learning how to manage your energy, I think is a very basic life skill, but it’s one that we’ve lost sight of as a culture. I’m so delighted that in this day and age, people are more willing to look at these sorts of things and find simple, easy ways to make a difference to how their energy field is functioning.
Anything you can do like exercise, movement, yoga are great for your energy field. Even just daily bathing. If you’re under theshower and you think, ‘I’m being cleansed, not just my body but my mind and my spirit is being cleansed by the water’. Your intention, used consciously, will interact with the water and the energy of the water.
While you’re in the shower, breathe in and then just release all the stress, tension and dullness that you might have been feeling. Let it go with the water as you’re showering.
Simple things like this, if you do them regularly, can really help you manage what it means to be human and help you have a foundation for a more positive and joyful life.
