Namaste everyone,
What beautiful Spring weather we are having here in Cooranbong. Nature has awoken, and next weekend I am looking forward to visiting our farm in the Southern Highlands, where the Tulip Time Festival is in full swing.
We have a few special celebrations coming up during Spring, which you may wish to put into your calendar.
Firstly, Navaratri, the festival of the Divine as Durga who destroys darkness is on from 1 to 11 October. Here in Cooranbong we will be having fire pujas every evening at 6.30pm* to bathe in the really strong energy of the Devi that is available during this time. Each night a different name of Durga will be emphasised and called into being within our hearts. You will connect on the inner plane with Shakti Durga, Parvati and Jagatambe who will be in Peedam running a retreat during that period. Savitur will also be running a retreat here in Cooranbong from Friday 7 October 7pm* to Tues 11 October which you are all welcome to attend.
Then, on 28 October it is Mission Day, the anniversary of when Shakti Durga was given Her mission. Incredible as it seems it is now ten action packed years since it all happened.
There will be a public program on Friday 28 October commencing at 10am to which you are all warmly welcome. Disciples will receive new activations that afternoon, while changes including a new member of our Council of Light will be announced and blessed.
A retreat will commence on Sat 29 October to do with spiritual awakening and the inner light, with the culminating day of the festival of light called Diwali, on Thursday 3 November.
We hope that you will join in the celebrations and soak in the bliss of the Divine which will be flowing during these forthcoming events. You are in my heart.
Namaste, Shakti Durga
* One exception to the 6.30pm Navaratri fire puja start times: Fri 7 October, fire puja will commence at 7.30pm to allow retreat participants time to arrive and settle in.
