Looking at the unconscious programs that drive our behavior
If you put in the hard work, it’s very easy to excel in something and therefore feel good about yourself. We’ve all felt it at some point in our lives, whether it was when we were children learning all the “hard stuff” or as adults at work or in our relationships.
We sometimes measure our self-appreciation against externalities. But, when we’re talking about self-love, it’s got to be unconditional or it’s not really love at all. If our self-esteem is high only when we’re successful and goes out the window when we’re facing challenges, then it’s time to look for the unconscious programs that drive our behavior.
