The mass consciousness is as invisible to us in our day to day life as the air we breathe. But just like the air we breathe, we are affected by it every day. It is so ever present that we don’t even notice it until something happens.
When it moves, we are going to notice and be affected by the turbulence, the torpor or by the currents of fashion and mass media induced frenzies running through it. As with air or water currents, the mass consciousness is different in some geographical places to others. That is because of the build-up of thought, belief, memory, expectation and life that has been lived there. It is affected by the culture, which is always either evolving or devolving. Like the breath moving inwards and outwards, we breathe in the mass consciousness, and with our outbreath, we add to it.The air is full of prana, and prana is infused with consciousness.
As one person heals and experiences a lift and shift in consciousness, through their exhalation, ripples of uplifted energy with the potential for new and uplifting ideas is fed invisibly into the mass consciousness.
As we alchemise deep changes within, it beneficially affects those around us, and feeds something new and good into the human collective. A hard won raising of vibration in one person, genuinely attained and nurtured, contributes to a lift and shift for all.
Like the air, sometimes there are storms raging in the consciousness field and at other times, sacred drops of pure spiritual honey float through and transform it. All of our efforts to refine the self are of priceless value. It is said in the mysteries that no effort is ever wasted, and all of it is productive of goodness, even if we cannot see it for ourselves in the slow moving and relatively dense vibration of the physical plane.
A truly profound way to help make our world a better place is to go through deep alchemical transformations into a new paradigm of being, enabling flashes of illumination to emanate outwards in ripples and lines of light. Like smoke that travels many hundreds of miles on the wind, so it is that our hard won spiritual pearls of great price also multiply and spread, co-creating balance, harmony and beauty in diverse aspects of the culture and collective life.
